Pilea involucrata
Check your plant’s identity
Does the label say Pilea involucrata (friendship plant)? A cultivar name after it, such as 'Norfolk' or 'Moon Valley', is still Yes, and so is Pilea ovalis, another name used for the same plant. If it only says friendship plant, Pilea 'Moon Valley', Pilea mollis or just pilea, choose I'm not sure.
Important precautions
ASPCA lists the friendship plant as non-toxic to cats, dogs and horses. It is not a food plant, and we found no human poisoning data, which does not prove it is safe to eat. If a child or pet eats a lot of it, contact a doctor, vet or poison service.
Care guidance is partial and depends on your growing conditions. Check the available guidance in the app; this profile does not promise complete care. A representative illustration does not confirm your plant’s identity.
