Parachute plant

Ceropegia sandersonii

Check your plant’s identity

Does the label say Ceropegia sandersonii, parachute plant or fountain flower? String of hearts (Ceropegia woodii) has small heart-shaped leaves on thin trailing stems and its flowers lack the umbrella-like canopy; it is a different plant. If the label is missing or unclear, choose I'm not sure; the reference image does not confirm your plant.

Important precautions

No veterinary or poison-centre record was found for this plant. Don't assume it is safe for people or pets: keep it away from children and animals that chew plants, and ask a vet or poison centre if any is eaten.

Care guidance is partial and depends on your growing conditions. Check the available guidance in the app; this profile does not promise complete care. A representative illustration does not confirm your plant’s identity.
